Job Description
As a Bindery Operator 2 at Lakeside Book Company, you will set up, adjust, and operate various binding machines, inspect equipment for safety issues, and direct crew through production while monitoring quality, output, and productivity.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand a job packet
  • General knowledge of complex bindery machines
  • Thorough knowledge of bindery machines and procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret written work orders
  • Knowledge of quality and machining requirements of various paper stock
  • Skill in setting up and adjusting machines
  • Ability to calculate distances, clearances, and fits
