Job Description
Temple University's Lewis Katz School of Medicine is searching for a Biobank Coordinator. The position involves assisting research teams in recruitment and study implementation for Temple funded research studies. The Biobank Coordinator will require working collaboratively with clinical and research teams to accomplish study tasks, including participant recruitment, obtaining informed consent, and managing participant data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 1 or more years of clinical research or clinical trial experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Experience with translational research methods and working with human research subject protection regulations is required
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office software programs
  • Ability to function as a member of a multidisciplinary research team and to provide support to various projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse stakeholders including patients and providers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail, and adherence to project deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
