Role OverviewThe Biogas Operator performs skilled work in operating an anaerobic digester, gas conditioning skid, and associated equipment. They will have limited oversight responsibility for outside maintenance contractors and will be required to isolate equipment following proper Lock-out Tag-Out procedures.
What You Will Do
The Biogas Operator will monitor gas production, complete hourly and daily rounds of plant equipment, and accurately record all plant operational parameters. They will also operate plant equipment, participate in plant housekeeping programs, and assist in writing Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Maintenance and operating experience in an industrial or gas processing environment
- Ability to work on-call hours as required
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
- Ability to do minor electrical troubleshooting with the use of multimeters
- Fundamental proficiency in Windows-based applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
