What You Will Do
Complete tasks such as writing original bioinformatics questions, choosing and anonymizing data, using scientific software, and interpreting results in the context of biological or translational questions.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have a Master's or PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, or a related field, and hands-on experience analyzing sequencing and omics data.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, statistical genetics, quantitative biology, or a related field
- Hands-on experience analyzing sequencing and omics data
- Experience with tools like samtools, bcftools, bedtools, BWA, Bowtie2, BLAST, Python (pandas, Biopython, pysam) or R/Bioconductor (DESeq2, edgeR, limma, GenomicRanges)
- Ability to write and run Jupyter notebooks that reproduce work exactly
- Clear, precise scientific writing
