Duties Include:



Weekly meetings with instructor for briefing of lab activities. Lab Assistants will assist students with lab activities including assisting students with microscope work, physiology-based experiments, cadaver work, dissections, and helping with set up and take down of labs.  This could include answering student questions, explaining material to students for further clarification, assisting with data collection and interpretation. Anatomy and Physiology Lab Assistants will also supervise weekly open labs.




Requirements:


Specific Skills/Aptitudes: Applicants who have successfully completed the biology course for which they are applying with a grade of B or higher are eligible to work in that biology lab. Applicants should enjoy working with and helping other students.  If interested in a teaching position, please apply for the 'part-time biology' instructor position.

Hours: To be discussed; 10 hours per week 



SALARY: $16.00 hourly
