Job Description
Bioprocess Scientist (Downstream) is responsible for purification and characterization of viral vectors, biologics, and recombinant proteins for process development and manufacturing activities.
Requirements
Masters degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field
2+ years of hands-on purification experience (academic or industry)
Ion-exchange and affinity chromatography
Buffer preparation
Basic analytical characterization methods
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project timelines
Experience with AAV or other viral vector purification
Hands-on experience with AKTA systems and Unicorn software
Hands-on experience in CsCl density gradient ultracentrifugation, chromatography techniques, and tangential flow filtration (TFF)
Strong analytical and documentation skills
