Job Description
Fairbanks Morse Defense is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure the dimensional accuracy, material integrity, and overall quality of large, highly engineered propulsion components. This is a hands-on position supporting foundry, machining, and finishing operations where precision and compliance are critical to ship performance, safety, and mission success.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of manufacturing and/or inspection experience
  • Working knowledge and hands-on use of standard measuring and test equipment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, cranes, and various material-handling equipment
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
