Role OverviewThe Blending Operator blending equipment in a safe manner and according to standard operating procedures. Ensure product produced meets quality standards.
What You Will Do
Focus will be to ensure blending equipment is running efficiently and in a safe manner to produce quality product. Follow all safety policies including LOTO (lock out tag out). Maintain and follow manufacturing batch records, logs and other documentation by following GDP.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Able to make suggestions to improve blending processes. Able to successfully start-up, operate blender efficiently and tear down for major cleaning according to batch record and specifications, on WI and SOP.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years' experience in manufacturing environment, preferably with blending equipment
- Understand and familiar with Good Manufacture Practice (cGMP), SOP's
- Comprehensive knowledge of blending equipment and process preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a safe manner
- Ability to complete job requirements independently at completion of onboarding period
- Proper use of scales, calculator, and other physical testing equipment
- Possesses strong attention to detail and GDP
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is essential for this role
