Role OverviewJoin our team at Emmanuel Hospital in Portland, OR as a Blood Bank Sr. Technologist. You will be responsible for determining the acceptability of specimens for testing, performing routine and complex technical procedures, and monitoring instrumentation to ensure proper functionality. You will work independently and within a team environment, with a high level of attention to detail and strong communication and organizational skills.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include determining specimen acceptability, performing technical procedures, monitoring instrumentation, making technical decisions, preparing and testing new reagents or controls, reporting accurate and timely test results, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- 4 years or more of clinical laboratory testing experience
- ASCP or AMT certification
