Role OverviewThe BMV Investigator Associate will conduct inspections at dealerships, salvage facilities, and auctions to ensure compliance with regulations. They will also collect data for criminal investigations and work with higher-level investigators to receive on-the-job training. The role involves presenting inspection reports and testifying as a witness before the Ohio Motor Vehicle Dealer Board and the Ohio Motor Vehicle Salvage Board.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of the BMV Investigator Associate include conducting random and assigned inspections, collecting data, and establishing facts for reporting. They will also submit recommendations for approval or disapproval of inspections and present inspection reports.
