Job Description
Civil Service Title- Area Supervisor (Highway Maintenance) II. Supervises a borough, multi-borough, or citywide bridge preventive maintenance operation.

Requirements

  • Four years of full-time satisfactory experience as a working member of a roadway or bridge/tunnel maintenance and repair crew using asphalt and concrete mixes;
  • At least two years of experience in a supervisory capacity;
  • Possession of a Class B Commercial Driver License valid in the State of New York with no restrictions on the use of air brakes.
  • Ability to work day, evening, or night shifts as required.
