Job Description
The City of New York is seeking a Civil Engineer I to conduct field visits, perform structural analysis, and prepare design plans. The candidate will report directly to the Supervisor of the unit and work on-site in New York City.

Requirements

  • Four years of full-time satisfactory experience in civil engineering work
  • Master's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college may be substituted for one year of civil engineering experience
  • Valid New York State Professional Engineer's License
  • Ability to drive city-owned vehicle
  • Strong background in AutoCAD, Acrobat, and MS office suite
  • Organized and effective communication skills
