Conduct field visits to identify deficient structural conditions, perform structural analysis, and prepare design plans. Supervise and manage repair request work with external units and governmental entities. Review and confirm repairs comply with required codes and standards.

Requirements

  • Four years of full-time satisfactory experience in civil engineering work
  • A master's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college may be substituted for one year of civil engineering experience
  • Valid New York State Professional Engineer's License
  • Ability to drive city-owned vehicle
  • Organized and effective communication skills
  • Ability to compose formal letters and emails
