Job Description
The New York City Department of Transportation, Division of Bridges is responsible for managing the full life cycle of over 800 bridges and tunnels, ensuring safety of the public and ensuring mobility for all users. The selected candidate will manage one or more bridge capital design projects in the Roadway Bridges group.

Requirements

  • Direct all functions during the design phase of a bridge reconstruction/rehabilitation project with latitude for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative.
  • Supervise, directly and indirectly, engineering professionals and clerical employees.
  • Apply leadership and teamwork skills to effectively address project needs, analyze, and manage risks and issues by developing mitigation recommendations.
