Role OverviewThe Body Shop Team Leader will shape the future of mobility by leading a team in the production of Mercedes-Benz Vans. The team will develop the mobility of tomorrow, making it safer, simpler, and more sustainable. The leader will foster and expand their professional skill set and individual strengths in a collaborative work environment.
What You Will Do
The Body Shop Team Leader will perform various tasks, including machine feeding, set ups, and operation of automated and robotic welding machines. They will also monitor and set up machinery for optimal performance, perform quality and visual inspection of final welds, and assemble and fabricate metal structure according to work specifications.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or GED. They will be responsible for communicating, improving, and monitoring standards, testing and adapting timelines, and coordinating absence planning. The team leader will also supervise and adapt SOS and marking/inscription, establish a rotation plan, and guarantee adherence to team targets.
