Job Description
Network Operations Manager role in the Americas region, responsible for supporting and maintaining the current network infrastructure, managing a team of 4 network engineers, and ensuring network standards are strictly adhered to.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical experience in Networks, specifically with Cisco, Meraki and Palo Alto vendor equipment
  • Ability to lead from the front in owning complex technical network problems
  • Experience of cloud networks and cloud connectivity
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Manage network related projects, office moves, equipment refreshes, migrations, changes etc.
  • Good working knowledge of Service Now
  • Reviewing and keeping on top of the Network Operations ticket queue
  • Experience with managing 3rd party service providers, telcos and working with outsource partners across the globe
  • Experience and use of Network automation tools
  • Experience of Aruba ClearPass/802.1x
  • Detailed and extensive Cisco switch configuration knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience of Data Centre environments
  • Knowledge of Solarwinds network monitoring tools
  • Candidate should have routing protocol experience
  • Palo Alto Firewall and Panorama knowledge
  • Meraki Wireless technology skills
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with peers and other teams
  • Adopt a sensitive approach towards confidential information and maintain integrity
  • Adopt a flexible approach to work and be available in support of your team as required
