Job Description
Boilermaker position involves constructing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing stationary steam boilers and boiler house auxiliaries, requiring a strong understanding of blueprints and ability to use various hand and power tools. Requirements

  • Examine boilers to locate defects
  • Bolt or arc welds pressure vessel structures and parts together
  • Inspect assembled vessels or individual components for defects
  • Repair or replace defective pressure vessel parts
  • Attach rigging and signal crane or hoist operators to lift heavy frame and plate sections
