Role OverviewA Journeyman Boilermaker is responsible for performing skilled work in the construction, installation, and repair of boilers and other large containers. The role requires 3+ years of experience in the field and the ability to read and interpret instructions and documents. The Journeyman Boilermaker works independently, planning and performing work activities, and is responsible for observing and complying with safety and project rules.
What You Will Do
The Journeyman Boilermaker will locate and mark reference points, attach rigging, align structures, hammer, flame-cut, and weld sections together, and perform minor maintenance and cleaning activities. They will also install manholes, handholds, valves, and gauges, and assist in testing assembled vessels.
