Role Overview

As a Boilermaker at Austin Industrial, you will construct, assemble, maintain, and repair stationary steam boilers and boiler house auxiliaries. You will work with a team of 4,000 employee-owners to deliver premier maintenance, construction, and soft craft services to leading industrial companies across the U.S. This role involves use of hand and power tools, plumb bobs, levels, wedges, dogs, or turnbuckles, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include examining boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, or vats to locate defects, inspecting assembled vessels or individual components, repairing or replacing defective pressure vessel parts, and attaching rigging and signal crane or hoist operators to lift heavy frame and plate sections or other parts into place.
