Role OverviewSenior Helpers is a leading provider of in-home senior care dedicated to improving the quality of life for seniors and their families. We are a growing healthcare organization seeking an experienced, detail-oriented accounting professional to join our team. This is an on-site position based in our Bolingbrook office. The position will begin on a part-time basis (approximately three days per week) with the expectation of growing into a full-time Accounting Manager role as the company continues to expand.
What You Will Do
Manage all bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks Online, record and categorize daily financial transactions, reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements, maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable, prepare monthly financial statements and management reports, process journal entries and account adjustments, monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting, organize financial records for tax preparation and audits, identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues, maintain organized financial records, work closely with ownership regarding financial reporting and business operations, maintain strict confidentiality of all financial and employee information.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles

- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
