Role OverviewDaniels Health is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused driver with a Class B license and experience driving large trucks to collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations.
What You Will Do
Delivering throughout MD/DC, operating a 26 ft box truck in a safe manner, safely collecting, delivering, and storing medical waste containers at customer locations, providing strong customer service, and completing deliveries to time schedule.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a Class B license, a clean driving record, and a valid DOT medical card, with a minimum of 3 years of experience operating a 26 foot box truck, and experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations, DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
Requirements
- Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
- Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
- Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
- Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
- Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
- Proven longevity in past employment

- Preferred background: Soiled Linens, Ice/Liquor/Pallets of Food Product, Municipal Waste, Medical/Office Equipment
