Box Truck Medical Driver - Rochester, MN

As a Box Truck Medical Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials. You will operate a company-owned vehicle, use a hand-held scanning device to track items, and maintain a clean and orderly vehicle. You will also be expected to demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with teammates and clients.

What You Will Do

Your day will be spent driving and transporting medical supplies, operating a hand-held scanning device, and following operating policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for presenting a professional image to clients and the public, loading and unloading company vehicles, and conducting pre/post-trip vehicle inspections.

Requirements

• Valid DOT (Department of Transportation) Medical Certification Card or ability to get one
• 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
• Excellent driving history
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (depending on location and local mandates)
• Ability to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to lift items off storage racks
• Ability to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
