Job Description
Direct the overall activities of the branch to achieve four objectives: serve customers, meet branch goals, maintain and acquire employees, and invest in personnel.

Requirements

  • Ensure all branch personnel understand company and branch objectives
  • Consistently meet and exceed branch goals
  • Make regular out-of-bank calls on business prospects
  • Coordinate with marketing to promote sales campaigns and product promotion
  • Ability to open bank accounts and explain services and charges
  • Interview loan applicants and extend credit
  • Adhere to and follow loan policies and procedures
  • Maintain strong communication to branch supervisors
  • Responsible for interviewing, selecting, developing & retaining Branch Staff
  • Hold weekly sales meetings to review products for branch development, sales goals, and overall bank profitability
  • Control salary and staffing costs to ensure branch's efficiency
  • Enforce branch security regulations
  • Maintain the customer records of the branch
  • Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Attend and participate in community, networking and banking events
  • Flexibility with work schedules to accommodate branch staffing requirements
  • Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti-Money Laundering procedures
