Job Description
The Branch Operations and Development Representative processes financial transactions, sells negotiable instruments, cross-sells bank products, and suggests possible services. This position answers questions, builds relationships with customers, and handles preparations for customers to begin receiving services.

Requirements

  • Assess customer needs and cross-sell appropriate products and services
  • Open accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and other products offered by the bank
  • Prepare new loan requests to submit to loan processing
  • Process draw requests, loan payments, and transfers
  • Perform loan origination, portfolio management, and processing
  • Track and monitor required documents and packets
  • Close and fund loans when required
  • Review completed LOM for accuracy and submit to loan operations
  • Participate in clearing collateral and credit exceptions
  • Review and verify loan files are complete and meet established standards
  • Pull maturity and past-due reports
  • Refer new business to company subsidiaries
  • Connect with referrals made by other team members
  • Accompany commercial lenders on calls to build and retain customer relationships
  • Resolve customer concerns and ensure effective long-term problem resolution
  • Provide ancillary services such as notary services
  • Respond to customer inquiries relating to products, rates, and services
  • Support and contribute to the attainment of branch goals
  • Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude and appearance
  • Represent the Bank by attending, volunteering, and participating in community and networking events
  • Complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned
