Branch President – Property & Casualty and/or Employee Benefits

Hybrid Role in our South-Central Region | In-Office or Hybrid Based on Branch Structure

We’re seeking a Branch President who will serve as the senior leader and cultural anchor for our Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland, and San Angelo offices, driving strategic growth, financial performance, talent development, and operational excellence.

 

This role is more than oversight — it’s about shaping the future of the branch. The Branch President sets the tone, accelerates performance, builds leaders, strengthens market presence, and ensures exceptional client experience while aligning closely with regional and national strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What You’ll Do

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

  • Lead the branch to achieve targeted organic revenue and EBITDA growth

  • Develop and execute a clear, actionable business strategy aligned to financial, operational, and cultural goals

  • Identify and convert growth opportunities through market visibility, networking, partnerships, referrals, and direct outreach

  • Serve as a visible leader in the insurance community, staying ahead of industry trends and competitive dynamics

Operational Excellence & Risk Management

  • Oversee workflows, resource allocation, and operational models to ensure scalability, efficiency, and compliance

  • Ensure alignment with ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and internal operating guidelines

  • Leverage Shared Services and enterprise resources to strengthen performance

  • Partner with the M&A team to evaluate and integrate acquisition opportunities

People & Culture Leadership

  • Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and accountability standards within a performance-based culture

  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and provide coaching to support colleague growth and succession planning

  • Lead talent acquisition efforts in partnership with regional leadership

  • Cascade communication effectively to ensure transparency, alignment, and engagement

  • Champion a culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and development

Collaboration & Organizational Impact

  • Actively engage in regional initiatives, verticals, and cross-functional workgroups

  • Lead change initiatives with clarity, empathy, and transparency

  • Ensure strong alignment between branch, regional, and national leadership

Client Experience & Market Presence

  • Elevate client experience through relationship-driven leadership and service excellence

  • Strengthen vendor and carrier partnerships to enhance value delivery

  • Serve as a brand ambassador to expand visibility and differentiate in the marketplace


QUALIFICATIONS

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline (MBA preferred)

  • 10+ years of leadership experience, including oversight of a multi-site or profit-center P&L within insurance or a related industry

  • Demonstrated success driving organic growth, operational improvement, and cultural transformation

  • Strong expertise in Property & Casualty and/or Employee Benefits

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to inspire, influence, and mobilize teams

  • Hands-on leadership style paired with strong delegation skills

  • Advanced business and financial acumen

  • Professional designations preferred (CEBS, CPCU, CLU, or similar)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and modern insurance technology platforms

Key Performance Indicators

  • Achievement of annual organic revenue growth targets

  • EBITDA growth and financial performance goals

  • Employee engagement above benchmark with 75%+ participation

  • Retention metrics achievement

  • Development and progression of future leaders within succession pipelines
