Role OverviewThe Branch Supervisor II directs and administers programs to accomplish functional tasks and overall development within a technical or administrative section. The incumbent is responsible for the organization, tasking, prioritization, and supervision of all personnel within the section. The position requires experience within a real-time environment supporting flight test operations and working knowledge of developmental flight test operations, weapons systems, test structures, regulations, airfield management systems, and structures.
What You Will Do
The Branch Supervisor II will establish technical and procedural guidelines, manage technical performance, interview job candidates, maintain current operational status information, evaluate and adjust procedures, oversee unit compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) and process improvement goals, ensure appropriate training, interact and coordinate with customers, and periodically evaluate the performance of subordinates.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic, military, or technical training and related experience
- 12 years of experience in a related field and four (4) years of experience in a supervisory/lead role
- In-depth working knowledge of related career fields such as technical trades or scientific and engineering professions
- In-depth knowledge of the principles of advanced management obtained through formal or self-study
- Understanding of the operational philosophy and business nature of the company
- Familiarity with computer-based management tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent planning/organizational skills
- Valid, state-issued driver's license
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
