Role OverviewThe Bridge Design Engineering Manager is responsible for managing the progress of all preconstruction activities for several concurrently ongoing bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects, and bridge and structures activities in other Highway projects in a given District. The position reports to the Bridge Design Engineer and requires a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in bridge or structural engineering, with three (3) years as a licensed professional engineer.
What You Will Do
The Bridge Design Engineering Manager will oversee the structural engineering, design, and preparation of bridge plans, special provisions, and cost estimates. They will also work with stakeholders, initiate public involvement, and manage project risk assessments.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related engineering field
- Seven (7) years of experience in bridge or structural engineering
- Three (3) years as a licensed professional engineer
- One (1) year of supervision, team lead experience, or equivalent education
