Job Description
Role Overview

As a Bridge EIT/Coordinator at HDR, you will work on bridge design projects, applying structural engineering techniques, and collaborating with a team of planners, engineers, and specialists to solve complex mobility challenges. You will contribute to the development of bridge designs, perform structural load calculations, and assist with geometric layout and quantity development. Your work will support economic vitality, public safety, and sustainable communities.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will include applying structural engineering and detailing techniques, working on bridge design projects, performing structural load calculations, and assisting with geometric layout and quantity development. You will also participate in bridge inspection and perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Familiarity with engineering software packages such as LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB-MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, midas Civil, CSiBridge, RM Bridge, spColumn, STLBridgeLRFD, or STLBridge
  • Bentley OpenBridge Modeler and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3d
  • Strong understanding and hands-on use of computers for structural layout and design
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment
