Job Description
The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Child Support Services Division. This position is responsible for leading, developing, and ensuring compliance with all budgetary and financial processes, policies, and procedures related to state appropriations, federal matching funds, and federal grant awards.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of contract and budget monitoring, as well as the principles and practices of public administration, including organizational analysis and the principles and practices of governmental accounting (GAAP).
  • Ability to understand budgets and related program information. Expertise and knowledge of federal and state regulations governing IV-D services.
  • Strong organizational, budgeting, accounting, oral and written communications, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and independently.
  • Creative problem-solving ability with a high degree of self-motivation and flexibility.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships.
