Role OverviewThe Budget and Contract Accountant prepares programmatic budgets, submits grant reimbursement requests and vouchers, invoices customers, prepares contract documentation, monitors grant expenditures and compliance, serves as a liaison to program management, and assists the Director of Finance & CFO with the organization's technical accounting, finance, and financial reporting requirements.
What You Will Do
Prepares and submits grant reimbursement requests, vouchers, invoices, and financial reports. Monitors grant expenditures against approved budgets and funding requirements. Reviews proposed expenditures for allowability and compliance with grant and contract requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university
- Related accounting experience and/or training
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral)
- Good computer skills, which include proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the Internet
- Good communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work with a diverse population
