Role OverviewThe Building Commissioning SME will lead and manage all commissioning activities for the building's security, life safety, telecommunications, building HVAC (DOAS), pressurization, and MV/MCC electrical systems.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include leading commissioning of access control, facial recognition, thermal/security cameras, and system integration, as well as overseeing DOAS commissioning, installation and commissioning of data, voice, and telecom infrastructure, and fire and gas detection systems.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 8–12+ years of experience commissioning building services systems on mission-critical, industrial, or data center projects, and proven experience coordinating multi-discipline building systems turnover on large capital projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 8–12+ years of experience commissioning building services systems on mission-critical, industrial, or data center projects
- Direct experience commissioning security/access control, fire & gas detection, building HVAC (DOAS), telecommunications, and MV/MCC electrical systems
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- NFPA 72/fire alarm certification, NICET, or equivalent life-safety credentials
- Security systems (access control/CCTV) vendor certifications
- NETA or electrical testing certifications
