Job Description
The Building Director is responsible for directing the personnel and operations of the Building Division, enforcing County and State minimum building codes, and coordinating various building permitting and inspection activities.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited four (4) year college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in building construction, engineering, architecture, public administration, political science or a related field
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of responsible administrative experience in building construction or related public administrative experience
  • Four (4) years of supervisory management or agency director experience
