Role OverviewAssist with maintenance and operations of mechanical equipment, building systems, and routine general maintenance of multiple buildings. Work closely with Facilities Manager and Property Management staff.
What You Will Do
Perform preventative maintenance, corrective repair, and unscheduled maintenance calls. Maintain records, assist with contractor monitoring, and respond to emergency calls.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Strong understanding of Fire Alarm panel and its functions, mechanical aptitude, and excellent customer service skills required. Ability to prioritize work, be a self-starter, and motivated team player.
Requirements
- Experience in plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
- Experience in electrical repair, installation, and trouble shooting
- General building mechanical maintenance experience
- Knowledge of and experience in mechanical concepts, HVAC principles, basic electrical, and basic plumbing
- Evidence of mechanical aptitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work and to be a self-starter as well as a motivated team player
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- Working knowledge of hand and power tool operation and safety
- Ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
