Job Description
The Building Maintenance role involves operating and maintaining HVAC equipment, low-pressure boilers, VAV boxes, hot water coils, fan equipment, and various mechanical equipment, as well as performing daily inspections and handling tenant requests.

Requirements

  • High School or GED
  • Technical training at a Community College or equivalent (preferred)
  • Knowledge and experience of general building maintenance
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, carpentry, or plumbing
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC equipment, troubleshooting abilities, power tools, plumbing or carpentry
  • Ability to interact with building employees in a professional manner
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, ability to communicate clearly and good organizational skills (preferred)
  • HVAC, CFC certifications (preferred)
  • Physical ability to climb ladders and lift 50+ lbs
  • Understanding, respect, and support for Catholic Church teaching, mission, and values
