Role OverviewPerforms all construction work and maintenance work not done by the Engineering Department or outside contractors. Demonstrates competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect effect on product safety, legality, and/or quality.
What You Will Do
Performs building maintenance and repair, maintains the overall physical appearance of the plant, assists Engineering personnel as necessary, and performs other duties as assigned.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to operate hand and power tools, stand, stoop, squat, bend, reach, and hold for extended periods, and enter, drive, and exit vehicles used by the Engineering Department.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Vocational/Technical training in carpentry, masonry, plumbing, wiring, floor covering, etc., or equivalent on-the-job training and experience
- Three to five years in building trade
- Thoroughly familiar with all aspects of building maintenance
