Role OverviewAs a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair duties. This position requires the ability to work different shifts, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours outdoors in different weather conditions. Teamwork with the ability to work within different departments and with other staff is necessary to be successful.
What You Will Do
Operates various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other team members. Identifies and reports broken equipment or uncertain conditions to the department supervisor.

Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or some college credits from a technical school
- one or more years of related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in all aspects of apartment maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and appliance repair
- Experience with drywall repairs and painting are essential
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondences
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
