Role OverviewA Building Maintenance Technician is a vital member of the facilities team, responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and appearance of non-operational facilities. This role requires a proactive and skilled individual capable of performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues, and implementing effective solutions in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
What You Will Do
Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, troubleshoot and diagnose issues with building systems and equipment, and conduct minor repairs and maintenance on doors, windows, locks, and other building components.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial building maintenance or a related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in MEP capabilities, including basic electrical troubleshooting, plumbing repairs, and HVAC filter changes/minor adjustments
- Skilled in drywall repair, painting, and general carpentry
- Ability to diagnose and resolve a broad range of building maintenance issues effectively
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals or blueprints (basic level)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision
