Role OverviewWe are seeking a full-time Building Maintenance Technician to maintain the day-to-day upkeep of Riverbend Hospital in West Lafayette, Indiana. The position involves working Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30p with potential on-call rotation. The ideal candidate will have a combination of education, training, and experience in general maintenance, with knowledge of residential and/or commercial systems components such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
What You Will Do
The Building Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining general upkeep of Meridian properties, repairing and maintaining simple electrical circuits, plumbing fixtures, and heating and cooling systems, inspecting buildings, performing routine ground maintenance, and conducting safety equipment checks.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Combination of education, training, and minimum of two years general maintenance experience
- Knowledge of residential and/or commercial systems components such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- OSHA Certification – 10 hour required
- Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, and Mechanical skills
- Knowledge of grounds maintenance preferred
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
