Role OverviewWe are seeking a full-time Building Maintenance Technician to maintain the day-to-day upkeep of Riverbend Hospital in West Lafayette, Indiana. The role involves working Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30p with potential on-call rotation with other maintenance technicians.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include maintaining general upkeep of Meridian properties, repairing and maintaining simple electrical circuits, plumbing fixtures, and basic systems, inspecting buildings, and performing routine ground maintenance.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a combination of education, training, and minimum of two years general maintenance experience, with knowledge of residential and/or commercial systems components, OSHA Certification, and valid driver's license.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Combination of education, training, and minimum of two years general maintenance experience
- Knowledge of residential and/or commercial systems components such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry
- OSHA Certification – 10 hour required
- Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC and Mechanical skills
- Knowledge of grounds maintenance preferred
- Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
