Role OverviewThe Building Services Department at PNW is seeking a Building Services Assistant to join their team! This position will work Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, and will be responsible for custodial functions, event support, and other tasks related to maintaining public areas and responding to customer service calls.
What You Will Do
The Building Services Assistant will perform duties such as setting up and dismantling furniture, working with event sponsors and customers, providing support to the University for office and equipment moves, and performing custodial functions in assigned buildings/areas.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to work with little supervision, and the ability to travel to other PNW locations as needed. The Building Services Assistant will work with the scheduling department to identify customer expectations and will respond to customer service calls throughout the day.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- One-year experience in custodial or event support or moving support
- Prior work in an educational environment is preferred
