Job Description
The State of Connecticut, Technical Education and Career system (CTECS) is recruiting a Building and Grounds Patrol Officer at Emmett O’Brien Technical High School, located in Ansonia, CT. The role is responsible for providing basic security services to ensure the safety and control of students, employees, and visitors. The position is part-time (32.5 hours per week), first shift, Monday - Friday, 6:45 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. for 10 months.

Requirements

  • Provide basic security services to ensure the safety and control of students, employees, and visitors.
  • Perform a full range of school security duties, including giving information and assistance to visitors, guarding entrances and exits, performing routine vehicle and foot patrol duty, and monitoring security and alarm systems.
  • Provide security escorts and perform related duties as required.
