Job Description
The Built Environment Technician I is a part-time role that supports the daily operations of the Department by performing maintenance and repair tasks for the museum building, grounds, and exhibit experiences.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting/repairing electronic components.
  • Experience with metals, plastics, and CNC operations is desired but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Microsoft Outlook, word processing, and spreadsheet software skills.
