Role OverviewThe Business Analyst II will work in the Financial Services IT Department, identifying business needs and customer requirements, and communicating with IT staff to ensure system development and implementation. The role involves designing application systems structures, performing analysis and evaluation, and developing work plans and specifications.
What You Will Do
Perform investigation, analysis, and evaluation to determine feasibility for IT related projects, advise on existing IT systems, develop and evaluate data and programs, and assist in estimating resource needs.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of systems design work experience, relevant financial services experience, and a BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with people in other departments.
Requirements
- Fifth year college or university program certificate
- Four to six years related experience and/or training
- BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, or related technical field
- 2 – 4 years of systems design work experience or relevant financial services experience
- Major systems development and implementation experience
- Understand project management and control
- Ability to communicate ideas and problem solutions
- Ability to effectively work with people in other departments and/or outside of the enterprise
- 1 – 2 years experience in a relevant position within the financial services industry
