What You Will Do
Reviews monitoring plan gaps and partners with compliance leads to strengthen operations controls and reduce risk. Implements business controls policies, standards, or operations procedures. Optimizes internal controls, assesses effectiveness and efficiency of operations, and improves reporting.

Requirements
- Seven or more years of experience implementing policies, processes, controls, and system improvements
- Experience supporting business controls, SOX, risk management, compliance, audit, governance, quality assurance, or operational excellence programs
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and other reporting and collaboration tools
- Experience working in a utility industry
- Ability to identify control gaps, evaluate business risks, and develop practical solutions that improve operational effectiveness
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with experience interpreting complex data and translating insights into actionable business recommendations
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority
- Ability to assess processes, identify improvement opportunities, and drive implementation of sustainable control enhancements
- Experience developing executive-level reports, presentations, dashboards, and performance metrics to support decision-making
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and developing corrective action plans to address identified control or compliance issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to exercise sound business judgment and independently resolve complex issues with minimal direction
- Experience building collaborative relationships with leaders and teams across multiple business functions
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail and execution
