What You Will Do

Participates in developing controlling activities, prepares business controls data request responses, researches and analyzes data, and monitors and reports on progress related to achieving operational and strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience implementing policies, processes, controls, and system improvements.
  • Experience supporting compliance, SOX, governance, risk management, audit, quality assurance, or internal controls programs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other business reporting and collaboration tools.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI.
  • Experience working in a utility industry.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and compliance tracking activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to build effective partnerships and collaborate across multiple departments and organizational levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-ready reports, presentations, and status updates.
  • Experience researching, interpreting, and applying company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, identify potential risks, and proactively drive issue resolution.
  • Experience facilitating meetings, tracking action items, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and accountability.
