Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Expert to join our sales development team. In this role, you will be responsible for recovering lost business, prospecting new business opportunities, and partnering with field sales representatives within their respective territories.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Professional Selling, Marketing, or Business is a plus.
  • Expertise in the Food Processing industry.
  • Telephone and in person sales experience preferred.
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and ZoomInfo is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Must have practical sales experience, preferably in food/meat processing, industrial processing, personal protection equipment, or plant operating supplies.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a team setting with a diverse group of employees, managers, and outside parties.
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel required.
  • Experience with IBM I-Series/AS400 operating system highly preferred.
