Job Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of sales and account strategies that contribute to organizational growth and align with corporate objectives; building and maintaining relationships with key contacts; assisting in sales planning and market positioning efforts; collaborating with cross-functional teams to help expand market presence; preparing and delivering presentations to stakeholders; participating in negotiations and supporting the execution of agreements; maintaining CRM data accuracy and using analytics to provide insights for forecasting; and sharing knowledge with peers to promote team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans for the assigned region to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Establish and maintain high-level business relationships with owners, operators, corporate stakeholders, developers, property managers, general contractors, Engineering Procurement Construction (EPCs), and other strategic partners.
  • Independently manage and grow the regional area pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and prioritization of opportunities.
  • Monitor regional KPIs and performance metrics, leveraging CRM tools such as Salesforce for reporting and analysis.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, reviewing work and sharing best practices.
  • Represent the organization at industry symposiums and experience center events, positioning the company as a market leader.
  • Conduct high-impact sales calls and deliver professional presentations to diverse audiences, including architects, builders, developers, facility engineers, and code officials.
  • Travel up to 50% to engage with customers, attend industry events, and support regional initiatives.
