Job Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of sales and account strategies that contribute to organizational growth and align with corporate objectives; building and maintaining relationships with key contacts; assisting in sales planning and market positioning efforts; collaborating with cross-functional teams to help expand market presence; preparing and delivering presentations to stakeholders; participating in negotiations and supporting the execution of agreements; maintaining CRM data accuracy and using analytics to provide insights for forecasting; and sharing knowledge with peers to promote team effectiveness.
Requirements
Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans for the assigned region to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Establish and maintain high-level business relationships with owners, operators, corporate stakeholders, developers, property managers, general contractors, Engineering Procurement Construction (EPCs), and other strategic partners.
Independently manage and grow the regional area pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and prioritization of opportunities.
Monitor regional KPIs and performance metrics, leveraging CRM tools such as Salesforce for reporting and analysis.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, reviewing work and sharing best practices.
Represent the organization at industry symposiums and experience center events, positioning the company as a market leader.
Conduct high-impact sales calls and deliver professional presentations to diverse audiences, including architects, builders, developers, facility engineers, and code officials.
Travel up to 50% to engage with customers, attend industry events, and support regional initiatives.
