Job Description
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for achieving monthly and annual sales goals, developing strategic sales plans, and nurturing new Group Travel business partnerships and accounts. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the travel industry, excellent industry and group market knowledge, and a proven track record of developing new business.

Requirements

  • Increase and generate sales in an assigned territory
  • Manage accounts successfully using our CRM system
  • Travel a minimum of 50% of the time to meet clientele and new leads
  • Learn company sales practices
  • Learn product and destination details for selling Mayflower Cruises & Tours
  • Execute presentations effectively to make the sale
  • Maintain account profiles, ensuring complete and accurate contact details
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Proven track record of developing new business
