Job Description
Join our dynamic Sales Team as a Business Development Manager at the Hyatt Regency DFW, a fast-paced, high-energy environment where service excellence and teamwork thrive. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for aggressively driving new corporate group business to Hyatt Regency DFW by identifying, prospecting, soliciting, and converting new accounts within targeted market segments.
Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of hotel sales experience with a strong focus on group sales, corporate business development, or outside sales.
Proven track record of generating new business and successfully converting competitive accounts within the hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of the corporate group, meetings, and events marketplace, preferably within the DFW market.
Demonstrated ability to prospect, negotiate, close business, and build long-term client relationships.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategic sales plans.
Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
Experience utilizing hotel sales systems and CRM platforms including Envision, Delphi, Lanyon, Cvent, or similar systems preferred.
Ability to travel for sales missions, trade shows, client appointments, and networking events as needed.
Professional presence with the ability to represent Hyatt Regency DFW at a high level within the marketplace.
