Role OverviewThe Business Development Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth for DSV Road through the acquisition of new customers, reactivation of dormant accounts, and development of customer relationships within the small- and medium-sized customer segment. This role promotes DSV's road transportation, freight brokerage, and logistics solutions, identifies new business opportunities, develops a pipeline of prospective customers, and converts opportunities into active, revenue-generating accounts through consultative selling and relationship management.
What You Will Do
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the small- and medium-sized customer segment and assigned territories. Acquire new customers through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry engagement, and relationship-building activities. Reactivate inactive or dormant customer accounts and develop strategies to increase customer engagement and revenue generation.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years of sales, business development, commercial, or related experience preferred
- Experience building customer relationships and supporting revenue growth initiatives preferred
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics or similar) and pipeline management tools preferred
- Transportation and logistics industry experience preferred
- Domestic freight brokerage or related transportation experience preferred
Benefits
- Base pay range: $60,000.00 – $85,000.00 Annual
